Deconstructing Hannibal Episode 3: Homes and Offices in Hannibal - Settings and the Metonymy of Place
In this episode, I delve into the settings of Season 1 - namely the important homes and offices in which much of the action, both internal and external occurs - Hannibal's office and home, Will's house, Jack's office, and Bedelia's house/office. I discuss both the production design along with my literary take on the symbolic significance of these places in setting the mood and tone for the show and how they become linked to character.
